Benzine is an online store that distributes zines and small independent press products. The client wanted to promote zin culture and introduce it to a larger audience. They’ve developed a fictional character Ben to communicate and to sign e-mails. One of the aims was to visualize him. The other important part of the brief was to promote the culture of zine-making. To fulfill it Benzine required artists to produce a comic strip about Ben’s life and desire to make and spread zines around.
